Help putting maps on your web site or blog

Putting a Muckety map on your web site or blog is quite is easy.

Below is a sample of what the box on the page looks like. Click inside the box and the text should automatically highlight. If it doesn't then click in the box and choose Edit > Select All from your browser's menu or just type Ctrl + A.

Once it is selected you can copy the text by typing Ctrl + C. If you want to use the menus go to Edit > Copy.

Once you have copied the code for the map you can save it in a text file, or go straight to your blog or web site and paste the code where you want it to go.

Here is what the code that you copied will look like:

<applet codebase="http://www.muckety.com/Java" archive="Muckety.jar,cos.jar" code="Muckety.class" width="100%" height="533">;
<param name=autoGroup value="1">
<param name=restore value="F4812D5C1B7F2AE0C87196C04B9CA2B1.map">
</applet>

If you want to adjust the height and or width of your map you can do that by changing the numbers in bold below:

<applet codebase="http://www.muckety.com/Java" archive="Muckety.jar,cos.jar" code="Muckety.class" width="100%" height="533">;

These numbers can be expressed as a percent or as a number. In the example above the width is expressed in percent and the height in pixels.

That's all you have to do.
