Corporate bondholders acquired Trump Entertainment Resorts for $225 million in a bankruptcy deal in 2010.
The company and its prime asset, the Taj Mahal casino, went bankrupt again in 2014. After emerging two years later, it was acquired by Icahn Enterprises. Icahn closed the Taj Mahal in October 2016.
