Carol Mills has been an independent consultant since February 2006. She served as EVP and general manager, infrastructure products group, of Juniper Networks, Inc., a provider of networking and security solutions, from November 2004 until February 2006.

Prior to joining Juniper Networks, she was an independent consultant from 2002 until November 2004. She was the president and CEO of Acta Technology, Inc., a private data integration company that was acquired by Business Objects in late 2002.

She previously held several executive positions at the Hewlett-Packard Company.

She holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. in Economics from Smith College.

Shantanu Narayen serves as Adobe's president and CEO.

He joined Adobe in January 1998 as VP and general manager of Adobe's engineering technology group. In January 1999, he was promoted to SVP, worldwide products, and in March 2001 he was promoted to EVP, worldwide product marketing and development

In January 2005, Narayen was promoted to president and COO, and in December 2007, he was appointed CEO and joined our Adobe's board.

Narayen serves on the boards of Metavante Technologies, Inc.

He holds a bachelor's degree in electronics engineering from Osmania University in India, a master's degree in computer science from Bowling Green State University and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business.
