Ulukaya, a Turkish immigrant who started with a shuttered factory in upstate New York and built a yogurt empire, was hit with vicious right-wing attacks in 2016 because he hired refugees. Why is this a Muckety Up, rather than a Muckety Down? Because Ulukaya not only endured, he set up a plan to give his workers stock in the company. By the end of the year, Chobani was reportedly a $1 billion company.
